Macomb Christian Church Missions

The Macomb Christion Church supports several Missions under the Umbrella of our World Outreach Ministry. The list below outlines the missions we are currently supporting. Please feel free to contact the church office if you would like more information than we offer here.

The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) is the name of several related Christian organizations founded through the influence of Pastor Richard Wurmbrand. These VOM missions raise awareness of the fact that hundreds of thousands are killed, tortured, imprisoned and harassed for being Christians each year. These organizations also provide practical assistance to persecuted Christians throughout the world.  VOM is calling on Christians worldwide to set aside November 9th, to pray for Christians around the world living daily under the threat of persecution as a part of the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP).  VOM will join hundreds of churches and thousands of individuals in remembering our brothers and sisters suffering around the world. These believers risk discrimination, imprisonment and even death because of their active witness for Jesus Christ.
Christians are encouraged to pray for continued boldness and courage for believers as they share the gospel and for hearts to be softened to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray not only for persecuted Christians, but for the persecutors as well.

Abigayle House – This home for unwed pregnant women is located in Sterling Heights Michigan. Abigayle House allows these women to have their children in a safe and warm environment, instead of choosing abortion. They are also looking to expand their ministry to reach out to the women after the baby is born to help them get started.

Great Lakes Christian College seeks to glorify God by preparing students to be servant-leaders in the church and world.

Harvest of Talents - This is our grassroots mission that has an annual event utilizes our own talents to fundraise for all of our missions.

MASTER Provisions
MASTER Provisions evangelize through clothing and other benevolent ministries in economically devastated countries. Missionaries Roger Babik and Family.

MCREST
The Macomb Count Rotating Emergency Shelter Team is a group of participating congregations that open up their facilities and their hearts to the homeless community.

Michigan Christian Campus Ministries – This ministry is based out of East Lansing Michigan. The families that work as missionaries in this ministry raise their own support and work with the college students at the various colleges in Michigan. They provide “His House” a safe place to come and relax and learn about Jesus in 12 Michigan campuses.
